"I hesitated to buy these little trays, because I thought they were not versatile enough to deserve a spot in my kitchen. I have actually been surprised at how nicely they have worked-out. Yes they make loaves custom-sized to our lunch boxes, but they also make just nice little loaves. Great if you like the edges of baked goods best. Washes up easily in the dishwasher and food comes out cleanly. Next I am using them for granola bars."
"I love these for way more than just baking! I use them a lot for prepping my kid’s lunches and snacks things like rice, homemade granola bars, oatmeal bites, mac and cheese, egg bites, yogurt, and other little portions. They’re great for pressing food into the right size/shape for the PlanetBox too. I also love using them for freezer prep. I’ll make a batch of something, portion it into these, freeze it, then pop everything out and store it in Ziploc bags. When I’m packing lunch I can just grab what I need and put it right into the lunchbox to thaw overnight or by lunchtime. Makes meal prep so much easier!"
"These muffin trays are my number one lunch prep tool. I love to make multiple batches of different muffins at once, then store them in the freezer and dole them out daily for weeks. This is my second set of trays, adding not replacing, which means I can prep even more muffins in less time now."
"I did not receive the cutting board in my order yet, but I really love the baking pans. The metal frame helps my sons little hands not to drop it when carrying it."
"they do work and fit well and sizing fits well with the lunchpails, they really do think of everything"
"I like that this is made to size certain snacks for the lunchbox"
"Awesome size that fits right into all size of the lunch box! Makes packing so much easier!"
"I can bake and freeze items that fit perfectly into the slot of the lunchbox with these. It saves me from guessing or wasting the space."
"This is an item that I LOVE in theory, and then in practice it's just not great. Sizing - they only fit in one compartment of the Rover and aren't a great fit anywhere else. Baking - silicone is probably my least favorite material to bake in - outsides get burnt before insides are cooked. Non-stick - no matter what I try, the stickiness is outrageous - I have taken to cutting custom-size parchment paper slings to line each individual compartment to have a HOPE of getting whatever I bake in them out."
"I haven’t had much luck with these. I’ve found the cooking uneven. I’d love if PlanetBox put out a recipe collection using them with tested cooking times because I haven’t had luck using them with other muffin type recipes and getting the cooking time right. Maybe it’s just me."
