"We've had this bag for one year. I love the design and slim profile. Full zipper allows us the dry out and reduce mold concerns. The problem is the liner. We had one bag replaced through the warranty program which was easy to do and much appreciated. However, the replacement bag after 2 weeks of use is also experiencing the same issue. I want to purchase a replacement but it doesn't seem like a good investment."
"I've been purchasing PlanetBox products for about 10 years and have always loved them. I was surprised to see that the Insulated Lunch Box has changed; it feels a bit more flimsy now and no longer has the sturdy structure it used to have. I'm wondering if this affects its ability to keep lunches cool."
"My daughter is so excited about her new lunch box. As a new middle schooler that is now making her own lunches, I appreciate the variety of lunch boxes and containers that it holds and how it opens up completely flat for easy cleaning and loading. The zippered pocket in the front is useful for snacks. My only feedback is that I wish the other front pocket also had a zipper. It's too small for water bottles and all other small things that fit that pocket seem to fall out when it's in her backpack."
"I purchased a different planet box insulated lunch bag a few years back when I first bought the planet Box Rover system. I am deeply disappointed with the quality of what the company is now putting out compared to what I purchased several years ago. Very disappointed."
"The lunchbox that goes inside will last for years and years - so we have no choice but to get the cover that matches the size. My daughter is 6 and this is the third lunchbox cover that we have putchased for the same interior box. Really wish they would improve the design because the plastic film that is supposed to cover the fabric portion gets consistently torn and it makes it very hard to clean."
"Planet Box has the most functional designs, I just wish the sleeves has cuter prints (like PB kids). But even so, it's still my go to for school lunch gear. The functionality and quality are unmatched. I love the ease of opening and everything is all together."
"I’m glad for so many pattern options since the Planet Box lunch tins don’t fit into lunchboxes made by other companies. My daughter was happy to choose cats for this coming year. I gave it 4 stars because with my 10-year-old one of these boxes only reliably last one school year before the interior starts coming apart from frequent cleaning. By contrast her sister can make a Planet Box lunchbox last several years, but she’s a less messy eater."
"My granddaughter loves this bag because of the bright colors, compartments, and ice pack that goes with it. She loves the magnetic blocks for the front. We also have the metal lunch box that goes inside. So easy to wash and handle."

"I was sooo excited to find this lunch box had a color that was a close match to my son's backpack. I wanted a lunch box that went with his backpack, so it was easier to identify his items. Plus, I chose the Rover lunchbox for his kindergarten year, so they were a perfect pair, and the long carry strap was perfect for him as they had to carry their lunchboxes to the cafeteria for lunch. However, after one week of use, I noticed the protective lining inside was cracking. After 2 weeks, it was completely broken apart and peeling off all around. I contacted customer service and they sent us another one no problem, but the same thing immediately happened to the new one. I was so sad as I couldn't find another lunch bag that worked as well for our needs. And for $33, I expected to get more than two weeks of use. It felt like money right down the drain with one month of use between two lunch bags. If the lining issue is fixed, I would definitely buy again, but it's not worth it until then. Giving two stars though because I do like the design and customer service was great with the replacement after the first one fell apart. I will also note as an fyi for other parents, white straps and zippers are not a great fit for kids, as it will instantly be covered in dirt."
