With summer in full swing, kids are busy with fun activities, and mealtime schedules are likely all over the place. Snacks and mini meals can provide a necessary midday energy boost, keeping them fueled for summer camp, swimming, sports, and outdoor play.

We’ve put together this list of snack hacks that will help to keep your kids nourished and hydrated all summer long.

 

Use your Insulated Container to pack hydrating fruit and keep it extra cool

Fruit & cheese kabobs

Frozen grapes 

Frozen mango chunks with lime juice

Pack a fun dipping snack in your double-sided Trailhead or use your Dippers in your lunch box 

Peanut butter yogurt dip with apple slices - 1 cup Greek yogurt, ⅓ cup creamy peanut butter, 1 Tbsp honey

Pears and ricotta

Mini toasts & ricotta 

Pita bread and tzatziki 

Add mango to your guacamole and pack with tortilla chips 

Cucumber spears and whipped cream cheese with everything bagel seasoning

Turkey and avocado roll ups

Ham, cheese, and apple roll ups

Grilled cheese roll ups- just flatten bread, top with cheese, roll, and cook until golden

Pasta salad skewers with tortellini, grape tomatoes, and mozzarella balls

Hummus poppers- hummus filled mini bell peppers 

English muffin pizzas- just pop them in the toaster oven!

Cucumber sandwiches- use cucumbers as the “bread” and fill with cheese, turkey slices, or tuna salad
