Healthy Eating for Kids

This month we're celebrating National Nutrition Month!

Research shows time and time again that improving nutrition helps support optimal immune systems, stimulates brain function, and helps to keep us feeling our best physically and mentally.

Normally we experience ease in being able to go to the grocery store each day for our fresh vegetables, but with today’s climate many of us are leaving the house less frequently. It’s more important now than ever to continue eating nutritiously to maintain a strong immune system. You can create well-balanced meals with food you likely have on hand at any given moment and still incorporate each food group.

We used some staples we had available to create a well-balanced meal for the entire family.
